Not at all. Many people put off the dentist for a long time. We're simply glad you're here, and we'll focus on helping you feel comfortable and looking after you from today.
Can I stop if I feel overwhelmed?
Yes, always. Before we start we'll agree a simple signal, like raising your hand. When you use it, we stop straight away and give you all the time you need.
Will you tell me what's happening?
Every step, before it happens, in plain words. If you'd rather not know the details, just tell us — we'll follow your lead.
